To avoid confusion, please read ALL of this page before using my work for any purpose! You CAN: Download images from this site for personal use (putting them on your desktop, cluttering up your hard drive, etc.). Download images and upload them to YOUR webserver for personal (non-commercial/non-profit) use, so long as you include my name (Krista A. Leemhuis) and a link back to this site (www.tenthorbital.com) next to each image you post. It would make me warm and fuzzy if you let me know that you're doing this and send me a link. :) Copy my work for your own learning. If you do this though, you MAY NOT post it on the web. Link to my site! If you want to use banners, you're more than welcome to download mine from my links page and upload them to your site to link back to me. No need to ask...it's all free! You CANNOT: Print or reproduce my artwork and sell it for profit. I own the rights to the images here, and in the case of commissioned images, other people own the rights to the characters. You don't. Print off images for yourself if you like, but you are not allowed to sell them. Link directly to my images or the pages on which they reside from your site. This is called stealing bandwidth!! (Note the "stealing" part!) Download the image you want to use first, then upload it to YOUR webserver and link to it there (assuming your use of it complies with the other rules listed here). Use my artwork on commercial sites. I require royalties for the commercial use of my artwork. Please contact me via e-mail if you are interested in displaying my work in this manner. (The exception is work that was commissioned by the company displaying it.) Post my artwork on your own site without my name and website link. This makes it look like it's your own to your viewers, and I don't appreciate that much at all. Please be courteous! Post my artwork and claim it as your own. That's just stupid. Do your own work. Keep the legal system off your back. Edit or alter my artwork, save for resizing, for any reason (this includes cropping it or creating tubes from it). Copy, trace, or otherwise reproduce my work and post it on the web (or anywhere else) as your own. Regardless of whose hand created it, it was still ultimately MY creation. (Think of it this way: If someone reads Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and copies it down word for word, it's still Shakespeare's work, not that of the copier.) Please ASK... ...if you want to use a picture/character as your RPG character or a scene from your RPG world. Some characters and settings are owned by other people, others (namely Endi characters) are ones I don't want used elsewhere. ...if your question isn't covered here or you're unsure if you can use a piece for whatever reason. It would make me very, very, very happy if you would ask me before using something if you're not sure I would approve. :)
