I sketched this up initially last winter, put it aside and took it out just recently to finish it up. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, though he initially had a pretty kickin' hat that just ceased to work as the piece went along. Ah, well...cut your losses, right? Anyway, it wasn't an intentional thing, but he started reminding me of Rand al'Thor from the Wheel of Time novels...so I put the dragon on his robe there. I just wasn't willing to change his garb so that it *could* be fanart. I'm told he doesn't have enough 'inner turmoil' to be Rand anyway. :D So, he's not Rand.
Unless you want him to be Rand.
